NEDIR BEY, aka Victor Foster — CEO of E.M. Health Services and high-ranking member of Your Black Muslim Bakery who owned at least two franchises. A spiritually adopted son of bakery founder Yusuf Bey, Nedir Bey ran for Oakland City Council in 2002, for which he received more than $14,000 in public matching funds. The Public Ethics Commission later questioned thousands of dollars in expenditures claimed by his campaign.

KATHY LEVIEGE — Bookkeeper for E.M. Health Services; bore two children by Nedir Bey in the 1990s.

JANET BEY — Registered nurse for E.M. Health Services; wife of Na’im Akbar Bey, the listed owner of one of the Bey family’s many private security companies, E.M. Security Company, which formed in June of 1997.

MADEEAH BEY — Staffing assistant for E.M. Health and Muslim wife of bakery patriarch Yusuf Bey. She bore at least three of his children.

FARIEDA BEY — Staffing assistant for E.M. Health Services and another wife of Yusuf Bey .

DAULET BEY — Also a Muslim wife of Yusuf Bey. Daulet Bey was listed as Qiyamah’s CEO when the nonprofit revived its business license by filing a statement of information in May 2007. The license was again suspended shortly afterward for failing to file required documents with the California Franchise Tax Board in 2005. Daulet Bey bore several of the bakery patriarch’s children.

TOMOKO KIKUCKI — Registered agent in 1993 of the Qiyamah Corporation, E.M. Health’s parent, she had two children with Nedir Bey.

 

 

 

 

WAAJID ALJAWWAAD — Listed in 1993 as CEO of Qiyamah, Aljawwaad was the anointed successor of Yusuf Bey to Your Black Muslim Bakery. In July 2004, Aljawwaad was found in a shallow grave in the Oakland hills. Police have said they believe bakery members were involved in his slaying.
