OAKLAND – Jurors in the Chauncey Bailey murder trial continue their deliberations which began May 23.
During their deliberations, the five men and seven women have asked several times to be read some of the testimony that was given during the two-month trial, which featured dozens of witnesses.
The jurors have a complicated task, weighing the evidence against two men for three murders. They must consider each murder and each man separately, deciding whether guilt in each instance has been proven.
The trial began March 21. More than 60 witnesses testified.
